Rates
My standard rate is $140.00 per hour for individuals.
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider. But many common insurance carriers with PPO plans will reimburse a good portion for our work together. Prior to our initial appointment, it is advised you contact your insurance company to verify your out-of-network benefits for mental health services (often referred to as “behavioral health”) with a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Some helpful questions you can ask them are:
- What percentage of the fee per therapy session is covered?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Please note, if you utilize your insurance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session at each appointment. At the beginning of each calendar month I will then provide you with a billing receipt, or “Super Bill,” for the previous month that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement directly to you.
Payment
I accept check, Visa, MasterCard, and Pay Pal. Payment is made at each session.
Cancellation Policy
Scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time especially for you. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you don’t come to your appointment, and you haven’t notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be responsible for the cost of the missed session, unless I am able to fill that hour with another client.
